Southern Cross Group in Mackay have several long term employment opportunities available for experienced Heavy Equipment Diesel Fitters in QLD’s Bowen Basin. These positions are responsible for maintaining a high standard of operational availability for a wide range of Caterpillar, Komatsu, Terex, O & K and Hitachi mining equipment.

All successful applicants will possess the following:
  • Diesel Fitting or related trade qualification
  • Solid experience on CAT, Hitachi, Terex, Komatsu dump trucks (up to 400tonne), D10-D11 Dozers/Loaders/Excavators(up to 800 tonne)
  • Ability to Fault find and rectify
  • Previous mining experience is essential
  • Current Generic/SGS/Coal Board Medical and advantage!!
