The Southern Cross Group is owned and operated by a mix of management and experienced tradesmen who have worked “on the ground” in the Mining and Resource industry. The experience gained over many years working with most major heavy equipment OEM’s and mining companies, is the core under pinning and strength that enables an understanding and appreciation of what is required by the industry to operate effectively.
We are currently seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters with CHPP experience for permenant roster position in the Bowen Basin.

- Experience with Fluxed Wire/Air Arc/Oxy Lance/MMAW (desirable)
We are currently seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters with CHPP experience for permenant roster position in the Bowen Basin.
The Candidate would ideally posses the following:
- Current Generic Induction or Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Elevated Work Platform
- Working at Heights
- Current Drug & Alcohol
- Must be Mackay Based
