COMMERCIAL ADMINISTRATOR (Quotations)

Henderson, Western Australia



Freo Group is looking to fill the position of Commercial Administrator within the Commercial team. This role is based in Henderson, Western Australia and reports to the Commercial Manager.

We are seeking a Commercial Administrator to support the business commercial objectives in the creation, maintenance, application and administration of all commercial offers including quotations and tenders delivered ex company to customers/potential customers. Also including liaising with operations/commercial/billing to create, maintain, update and apply divisional rate cards. The function also includes supporting the company’s current contracts including variation management (request and response), correspondence monitoring, and general administrative duties relating to sound contract management.

Duties associated with this role will include:
  • Co-ordination of quotation and tender pricing activities including Crane and Transport related services,
  • Maintaining and developing on-going rapport and working relationships with Freo Customers, Suppliers and internal Freo personnel,
  • General administration,
  • Being part of a team to meet corporate KPI’s.
To be considered for this position you will need to have:
  • Excellent attention to detail with an analytical mind-set,
  • Strong communication skills,
  • Excellent communication, both written, and verbal,
  • Ability to review Tenders and RFQ documents with commercial acumen,
  • Proven ability to be able to work both autonomously and in a team environment,
  • A professional attitude and presentation with an approachable demeanour,
  • Computer literacy:
- MS Outlook – Intermediate;
- MS Word – Intermediate;
- MS Excel – Intermediate;
- MS PowerPoint – Intermediate;
  • Relationship building and maintenance skills,
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
The following would be an advantage:
  • Experience in Equipment Hire
  • WA Road Transport Industry Legislation and regulations;
  • Over mass and over dimensional load requirements,
  • Geographical knowledge of WA
  • Quote preparation and completion; Tender response preparation
  • Sales and sales related processes
 Candidates who hold formal qualifications in Business or Commerce will be highly regarded in consideration for this role.
